Independent studio since 2018
A design studio, not a marketplace
Most SVG sites are marketplaces — thousands of sellers uploading files nobody checks. You find out whether a design cuts cleanly after you've paid and loaded your vinyl. We built PickSVG the other way round.

Process
How a PickSVG design gets made
Four steps, every file, no exceptions. Not complicated — but consistent, and consistency is the whole difference between a studio and an upload queue.
STEP 1
Start with demand
Designs come from what people search for on the site and what customers email asking for — not from inspiration. Father's Day fishing designs get drawn in March, not June.
STEP 2
Draw as clean vector
Drawn as vector paths from scratch, never auto-traced. Traced files carry hundreds of junk nodes, which is why some SVGs cut jagged or crawl in Design Space.
STEP 3
Test-cut it
Imported into Design Space and Silhouette Studio, sized to a real shirt or tumbler, and cut. If layers don't separate or fine details tear when weeding, it goes back to step two.
STEP 4
Export five formats
SVG, PNG at 300 DPI, DXF, EPS and PDF in one ZIP. No format upsells, no premium tier that unlocks the file you already bought.
Specification
What's inside every download
The same five formats ship with every design, so you never have to check whether your machine or method is covered before buying.
- Cricut — Maker 3, Maker, Explore, Joy

Principles
What we believe about selling digital files
Three positions that shape how the shop works — and that you can hold us to.
A license you can actually read
One page, plain English. Sell the physical things you make — shirts, tumblers, decals, signs — on Etsy, at markets, anywhere. No tier upgrades, no per-unit counts to track
Your files don't expire
Every purchase stays in your account permanently. Buy on your phone at 10pm, download on your computer next Saturday. New laptop, lost drive, deleted folder — sign in and download again.
A file that fails is our problem
Digital downloads aren't refundable once delivered — standard, and why we test first. But if something genuinely doesn't cut right, email us. We fix or replace it the same week.
Customers
Who we make designs for
Two groups wanting different things from the same catalogue. We try to serve both without pretending they're the same customer.
Roughly half our customers
Etsy sellers & craft businesses
Producing in volume, where a file that weeds cleanly is worth more than a file that looks clever.
- Bundles at under $0.60 per design
- Commercial license on every file, no upgrade
- Seasonal designs released eight weeks early
The other half
Hobbyist crafters & gift makers
Making shirts, gifts and décor for their own families — often on a Cricut they're still learning.
- Step-by-step upload guides per machine
- A free design every week to practise on
- Project ideas on the blog, not just files
Judge us on a cut, not a claim
The fastest way to assess a cut file is to run it through your machine. We release one design free every week — take it, cut it, and see how it behaves before you spend anything.
