Alpha Kappa Alpha SVG Files for Cricut and Silhouette

Alpha Kappa Alpha was founded in 1908 at Howard University, and that year shows up across a lot of this collection — sometimes on its own, sometimes worked into a bigger design. The 1908 AKA SVG keeps it simple, just the year and the letters, which makes it an easy one to size down for something small like a keychain blank or a tumbler lid. The AKA 1908 Pink and Green SVG takes the same idea further by building in the sorority’s colors directly, so if you’re printing rather than cutting a single-color vinyl piece, this one’s already set up for that.

A good chunk of the catalog also plays on “AKA girl” as its own theme, separate from the crest or letters. The AKA Girl 1908 SVG and AKA Girl Brown SVG both lean into that, and they read more like a personal or gift-style design than something you’d put on a chapter banner. There’s also AKA Girl Sandal SVG, built around footwear rather than a person or a badge, which is a different enough angle that it’s worth knowing it’s there if the more common crest-and-letters designs aren’t what you’re after.

One design worth calling out specifically is AKA Girl Skee Wee 1908 SVG, which references “Skee Wee,” a call that’s closely associated with the sorority. It’s the kind of design that means something extra to someone who’s actually part of AKA, rather than just being decorative — worth keeping in mind if you’re making something as a gift for a sorority sister rather than for yourself.

Not every design here fits neatly into the “1908” or “AKA girl” groupings — the AFA Logo SVG is a more standalone badge-style design, useful if you want something a little less busy than the founding-year pieces.

As with the rest of the catalog, every file downloads as one ZIP containing SVG, PNG, EPS, DXF, and PDF, so switching between cutting vinyl and printing on a tumbler or mug doesn’t mean going back to re-download anything. Designs with color built in, like the pink and green piece above, are usually a better fit for sublimation or print-then-cut than for a single-layer vinyl cut, since you’d otherwise need to separate the colors by hand for HTV. Every design is test-cut in Cricut Design Space before it’s listed, and a commercial license comes with every purchase — full details are on the license page.

For other Divine Nine organizations, Fraternity & Sorority SVG is the wider collection, and Delta Sigma Theta SVG and Zeta Phi Beta SVG both have their own dedicated pages the same way this one does. If there’s a specific AKA design you had in mind that isn’t here, Custom Vector Design takes requests.
